Your baby is monitored with frequent assessments during the first two hours of birth. A newborn assessment is conducted after the birth and the record is faxed to your baby’s care provider. As soon as you and your baby are ready we will help you get your baby latched properly. We want to ensure your breastfeeding relationship is off to the best possible start. Carol will electronically file your baby’s birth certificate and apply for a Social Security card for your baby.
