Get the time you need for your prenatal care. One hour prenatal visits give you time to get all your questions answered. There is time for the necessary assessments to ensure you and your baby’s well-being, and time for education so you can make informed choices about the care you receive. Prenatal testing, laboratory work, referrals for ultrasound and to other birth professionals including obstetricians, chiropractors, massage therapists, childbirth educators and breastfeeding classes are all services included in your prenatal care.
Prenatal visits are every four weeks until your 28th week of pregnancy, then every two weeks until your 36th week, when we meet every week until you go into labor. Babies can be born at home between 37 and 42 weeks gestation.
